Black and white!
Good evening everyone! I thought I would do a post on my nails that I did this week. I have changed them since to Baker Street since, but because I have already done a post on those I thought that would be a bit boring lol! So I have been looking at the polish I used for this for a long time so I kind of impulse bought it when I was in boots last!
It's a polish by L'oreal that is called 'Top Coat Confetti'. It consists of a slightly shimmery clear base with black and white bits in. I wouldn't describe it as a glitter polish because the particles aren't actually glittery, they're just more of a block colour with a slight matte finish.

To create this look I started with a base of OPI Nail Envy matte. This is probably my favourite polish to use as a base as it's matte and you can see when you're able to start applying polishes! It's also an amazing treatment for the nails which I adore. I then applied one coat of Nails Inc Black Taxi. If I was wearing just Black Taxi I would have done two coats but as I was adding another coat with the confetti I thought it would be too easy to peel off if I did two coats of black polish. I then did one coat of the confetti, which I found easier to 'blob' on. Yes, that's a technical term lol! I did have to keep putting the lid back on and giving it a shake because it did have quite a thick consistency. I then finished off with one coat of Kensington Caviar 45 second drying top coat! It made it really glisten and made the matte particles shine!
I hope you all like this look!
