White!

White nails!
Good evening everyone! Tonight's post is going to be on a new white polish I bought this week! I didn't actually own a plain white polish, they were all pinkish or brownish. I do like those shades but I was looking for a true white! The one I went for is by OPI and is called Alpine Snow.

So admittedly this really isn't one of the neatest manicure's I've done, and I only kept it on for a day before changing it! I have used two coats of the polish to get this look, but I think on some of the nails it could of done with 3 coats.
This colour would be amazing for a base for things like chunky glitter, nail graffiti or under a colour that isn't thick enough to cover the whole nail. (When you hold your hand to the light and you can still see under the free-edge.)
I used OPI Nail Envy matte for my base coat which is my favourite base coat, and I finished off with Nails Inc Kensington Caviar 45 second drying top coat!

I hope this helps for anyone that is looking to buy this polish, or just a white polish in general!

Confetti Top Coat!

Black and white!

Good evening everyone! I thought I would do a post on my nails that I did this week. I have changed them since to Baker Street since, but because I have already done a post on those I thought that would be a bit boring lol! So I have been looking at the polish I used for this for a long time so I kind of impulse bought it when I was in boots last!
It's a polish by L'oreal that is called 'Top Coat Confetti'. It consists of a slightly shimmery clear base with black and white bits in. I wouldn't describe it as a glitter polish because the particles aren't actually glittery, they're just more of a block colour with a slight matte finish.

To create this look I started with a base of OPI Nail Envy matte. This is probably my favourite polish to use as a base as it's matte and you can see when you're able to start applying polishes! It's also an amazing treatment for the nails which I adore. I then applied one coat of Nails Inc Black Taxi. If I was wearing just Black Taxi I would have done two coats but as I was adding another coat with the confetti I thought it would be too easy to peel off if I did two coats of black polish. I then did one coat of the confetti, which I found easier to 'blob' on. Yes, that's a technical term lol! I did have to keep putting the lid back on and giving it a shake because it did have quite a thick consistency. I then finished off with one coat of Kensington Caviar 45 second drying top coat! It made it really glisten and made the matte particles shine!

I hope you all like this look!
